At this meeting members will have the opportunity to discuss their experiences with the outcomes of their radical prostatectomy and radiotherapy (including salvage radiotherapy) treatments. This will include recovery from and the side effects of the treatments.

Wayne Simpson from Rise Above Canberra Region Cancer Relief will update us on the role and direction of that organisation. Rise Above financially assists cancer patients in the Canberra and Queanbeyan Region.
Mitch Witherington, Head of Operations at PCFA, will update us on what's happening with PCFA and its future direction.

A/Prof Michael Penniment AM, radiation oncologist at the Icon Cancer Centre in Adelaide, will speak about proton therapy, which is beneficial in specific prostate cancer indications for some patients. A/.Prof Penitent will also explain how he and his colleagues can take referrals to assess patients anywhere in the country (some supported by Medicare).

Speaker is Andreea Ardeleanu, a mental health social worker and sex therapist, who has been working in the oncology field for over 15 years. Andreea has worked closely with Men's Health Down Under and supports the men accessing that service.
Dr John Scott will speak about research into a switch-off molecule for prostate cancer.
